On Sunday, February 12 from 1-4 p.m. Isador's Organics, located at 261 Main Street in Oxford, MA will host a Chili Cookoff in conjunction with The Webster Dudley Business Alliance to benefit the Hand Fruit Program which brings organic fruit to local schools that might not otherwise be able to afford it. Individuals and restaurants are invited to bring their pre-made entry in any category of chili including spicy, mild, vegetarian, white, etc. and can sign up by calling 508-987-1211. There is no entry fee. The public is invited to attend and donations for tasting will be accepted at the door. All attendees may vote and prizes will be awarded based on people's choice.

The Webster Dudley Business Alliance would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's annual Tree Lighting Event in Webster another great success and fun evening for all residents who attended. We'd especially like to thank the sponsors including Gentex Optics, Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, Webster Dudley Oxford Chamber of Commerce, Nancy Healy, Webster First Federal Credit Union, Webster Manor, Bob & Robin Craver and Deborah Keefe. Thanks also to Dan Cournoyer and the Webster Brotherhood of Firefighters for their donation of a live tree to be enjoyed for years to come, to Ken Pizzetti and the Webster DPW, Webster Police & Fire Dept., Selectman Chair Walter Dan Ricci, Norbert Savard, Mike Kelly and the Webster Dudley Boys & Girls Club, Webster-Dudley Rotary Club, the United Church of Christ Federated and all the volunteers who donated their time. Save the date! Dec. 7 Holiday Pot Luck The WDBA will host a holiday pot luck on Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at the United Church of Christ Federated Hall located at 4 Church Street in Webster. Bring a favorite dish or dessert to share in the holiday spirit. We will also be collecting unwrapped toys to be donated to the Webster & Dudley Toys for Tots program. Annual meeting & elections

It's that time of year again! The Webster Dudley Business Alliance will be having our Annual Meeting & Elections on Monday, October 24 at Point Breeze Restaurant from 6-7:30 p.m. Chowder & fritters will be served and door prizes will be awarded. Cost will be $10 per person.
Tim Cromwell of MyChoice marketing will also give a brief presentation.
Officers up for election this year include Vice President and Treasurer, both 2 year terms. There are also 4 Board of Director openings for 1 year terms. If you are a member in good standing and are interested in running for any of these positions or finding out more about it please reply to contact@thewdba.org
There will be time for networking as well as reviewing the past year's accomplishments and goals we have set for next year and beyond. Please join us in helping the local business community thrive! Members and friends are welcome to attend. RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Any donations for door prizes will also be appreciated.
