The Webster Dudley Business Alliance would like to thank everyone who helped make the 3rd Annual Sidewalk Sale event in downtown Webster a success. After an early but brief rain shower, the skies cleared to welcome shoppers & browsers to over 50 vendors set up to display their wares on Main Street & Church Street. Live music was provided by The Grey Whisker Pickers and The Pulaski Brass Band.
Senator Richard Moore and State Rep. Ryan Fattman were in attendance to welcome visitors. The French River Park hosted a "duck pluck" to benefit the French River Connection and many prizes, including $100 for 1st place, were awarded thanks to donations from local businesses & restaurants.
The WDBA would especially like to thank the Webster town employees, police & fire departments for their assistance. We look forward to seeing everyone again next summer!

The WDBA would like to thank all the 175 volunteers who helped make our community cleaner. Nearly 2 tons of trash and over a half ton of recyclables was collected, plus 1200 lbs. of recycled electronics. The official 2013 winners of the Chili Cook Off held at Isador's Organics in Oxford. Justin Paul Szóstakowski, owner of Isador's, Carolyn Latham of Oxford 2nd Place, Mike Morin of Oxford 1st Place, Heather Day of Worcester 3rd Place, Shereen Fahey of Commerce Bank in Webster, event sponsor. The Webster Dudley Business Alliance would like to thank all who entered and came by to taste & judge the 18 entries. It was a tough job, but 100 people were up to the task. $670 was raised and will benefit the Hand Fruit Program, bringing fresh organic fruits to local elementary schools in Webster, Dudley & Oxford. Get your recipes ready for next year!!

It's that time of year again!
The Webster Dudley Business Alliance will be holding their annual meeting & elections and you're invited! Attendees will have a chance to network, hear about the past year's accomplishments of our group and upcoming plans. Members will also vote in the 2013 Executive Board and Board of Directors.
Date: Tuesday, October 23, 2012
Time: 6-8 PM
Place: Point Breeze Restaurant, Webster
Chowder, fritters & cider will be served
Cost: $10/WDBA member, $15/non-member
The WDBA Executive Board consists of (4) Executive Officers and (3 plus 1 alternate) Board Directors. If you are interested in nominating yourself or another business associate for a Board position please email email@example.com.
Officers up for election this year are President and Secretary (2 year terms) as well as 4 Board Director positions (1 year terms). All nominees must be WDBA members in good standing.
Responsibilities of the Board include attending monthly meetings and working to support the group's mission of promoting and assisting local business members through communication, networking, education and community involvement.
All local business owners and managers as well as local non-profit groups are invited to become regular WDBA members for an annual fee of $50.
